Men's Basketball 2012-13

Home Game Parking

During home basketball games, a specific game permit is required to park in lots 19, 31, 54, 70, 71, 72, 90, 125, 127 and the Allen Fieldhouse Garage. Permits for games are issued by the Williams Fund.

Toll parking for those attending the game without Williams Fund permit may be available on a first come/first served basis in lots 90, 112, and 125 for $20 per space.

All vehicles must be removed from these lots and the Allen Fieldhouse Garage by the time listed in the "lot restrictions begin" column in the table below. Failure to do so will result in a fine and the possible towing of your vehicle.

Free parking is available in Park & Ride lot #301, with a shuttle (see right) that runs to Allen Fieldhouse. Access to lot 301 is from Clinton Parkway at Crestline Drive, with shuttle service from stop #3 in the east lot.

More information and directions to Allen Fieldhouse can be found on the KU Athletics web site.

Accessible Game Parking

Handicap accessible spaces are available in four parking lots: 54 (3 spaces), 71 (25 spaces), 72 (13 spaces), and the Allen Fieldhouse Garage (8 spaces). Toll costs $20 per vehicle, and these spaces are sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Additional free accessible spaces are available at Park & Ride with an accessible shuttle to the Fieldhouse.

Parking for Other Purposes During Games

After 5 p.m. on weekday game days, certain parking lots are reserved for those with valid KU parking permits who need to park for academic purposes. Students, staff and faculty may move to lots 34 and 61/62, and faculty and staff may also use lots 2, 6, 7, 17, 33, 35, 37, and 129. In addition to these lots, any KU parking permit is valid in the Park & Ride parking lot, and buses run until 10:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday and until 7 p.m. Friday, when classes are in session.

Visitors to the university who are not attending the game may park after 5 p.m. in most of the lots north of Jayhawk Boulevard, especially the stadium lots. Please pay close attention to the lot restrictions on the signs.

Bus Routes

Routes 41 (Park & Ride) and 42 (Campus Blue Circulator) both operate until 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday evenings. Route 41 ends at 7 p.m. on Fridays, and route 42 ends at 6 p.m. on Fridays.
