Parking Portal Outage July 16-24
KU Transportation Services is changing to new parking software, which requires that we disable the current parking portal at 5PM on Wednesday, July 16.
The database will require one week to be converted and moved to our new platform, with an anticipated ‘go live’ date for the new portal on Friday, July 25.
On July 17-18, all ticket payments and daily permit purchases must be made in person in the KU Transportation Services office, located in the Allen Fieldhouse Parking Garage, or by phone (785) 864-7275 [PARK].
Our office will be closed July 21-24, during which time ticket payments, purchase of new permits, or changes to existing permits, including adding vehicles, may only be made by phone.
During this time, late fees will be suspended for any tickets written between July 9-25, and appeal deadlines will be extended to Friday, August 8. Late fees will be applied to all tickets written between July 9-25 that remain unpaid on August 8.
Faculty and staff who have not yet completed their payroll deduction for 2025-26 parking permits should do so before July 16 or will have to wait until the new portal is active on July 24. Payroll deductions cannot be completed in person / on paper.
Once we have confirmed the portal is active and working, students will begin receiving emails about purchasing permits, on a more compressed timeline than usual. Barring any hiccups, we expect to send those out on the following timeline:

Daily permits for 2025-26 will be available to purchase beginning August 1, as usual.
